Jobsite Access & Safety integration
myComply COI compliance integration
Make employer insurance one more credential your myComply gate checks. myComply manages worker orientations, certifications and site access through its Smart Brick hardware; Pikorua Security verifies each subcontractor's certificate and endorsements and delivers a company-level insurance credential with a verified expiry date, so workers from a company whose coverage lapses are treated like any worker with an expired credential.

What Pikorua Security reads from and writes to myComply.
| Field | Direction | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Companies on site | myComply to Pikorua Security | Subcontractor companies registered to each project, from myComply's roster export or from Procore where your myComply projects import companies from Procore. |
| Workers by company | myComply to Pikorua Security | Worker counts per company and project, used to show how many people a gate hold would stop before you switch it on. |
| Employer insurance credential | Pikorua Security to myComply | One credential per company, for example "Employer insurance verified", carrying the verified expiry of the earliest required coverage. |
| Credential status | Pikorua Security to myComply | Valid only when every gating rule passes; an expired or cancelled policy makes it invalid in the next file, not at the next audit. |
| Reason text | Pikorua Security to myComply | A short reason for site staff, such as "Workers comp expired 10/15/2026, call the superintendent". |
Trigger events
When the certificate changes, myComply changes with it.
- Hold
Subcontractor's workers compensation expires
Then: The company credential is invalid in the next file, and its workers fail the credential check at the Smart Brick until the renewal is verified.
- Hold
Policy cancelled mid-term
Then: Same invalidation, plus an immediate call-out to the superintendent so the crew hears it before the morning start, not at the turnstile.
- Warn
Coverage expiring in 15 days
Then: The credential stays valid; the superintendent and the subcontractor's foreman receive a heads-up with the broker's status.
- Release
Renewal verified
Then: Credential valid with the new expiry in the next file, and workers badge in normally.
Setup
Live in 2 to 3 hours.
5 steps, done by your myComply administrator and a Pikorua Security Admin together. Nothing to install on your servers beyond the file drop you already control.
- 1
Agree the credential
With your myComply account team, add a company-level employer insurance credential that the gate checks alongside orientation and trade cards.
- 2
Connect the file drop
Pikorua Security delivers the credential file to the SFTP location set up for your myComply account, on a schedule you choose. Hourly during work hours is typical.
- 3
Match companies
Pikorua Security matches myComply companies to vendors by legal name and, where myComply imports from Procore, by Procore company ID.
- 4
Choose enforcement
Decide which failures invalidate the credential (usually expired or cancelled coverage) and which only notify (most endorsement gaps).
- 5
Brief the gate
Tell site security what the new credential means and who to call; the reason text tells them why a worker was stopped.
Workers carry credentials. Companies carry insurance.
myComply, based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, with US operations in New York, manages construction workforce compliance: digital orientations, certification and training tracking, time and attendance, and site access through its Smart Brick hardware, which connects to turnstiles, gates and door strikes and checks credentials such as New York City SST cards in real time. It is built around the worker.
Insurance belongs to the worker's employer. A carpenter with a valid SST card and a completed orientation is still a problem on site if his employer's workers compensation policy lapsed last Tuesday. Pikorua Security closes that gap by turning the employer's verified insurance into a credential the gate already knows how to check.
Gate holds are a policy decision
Stopping a crew at the gate is disruptive, so most general contractors reserve it for expired or cancelled workers compensation and general liability, and use payment holds for endorsement gaps. Pikorua Security lets you set that per project: a hospital renovation may gate on any deficiency, while a warehouse shell only notifies.
Every invalidated credential is logged with the rule, the time and the number of workers affected, so the superintendent can explain a stopped crew in one sentence.
